7 Tips to Get Rid of Dandruff For Good

1) Shampoo Properly

And don’t forget to rinse thoroughly! A buildup of soap and oils can actually worsen dandruff symptoms and make it harder to get rid of. The next thing to do is be careful about what products you use on your hair because some ingredients are known to worsen dandruff. 

One way is by increasing oil production in the scalp, which leads to an excess sebum buildup that irritates and aggravates skin cells already trying their best not be aggravated or irritated. 

Also, avoid products with alcohols in them like denatured alcohol as they will dry out the skin even more and make dandruff worse.
